To change the keyboard language or change the preferred languages in a specific app, you need to change the keyboard layout in Windows 11.
If you have installed Windows 11 in a particular language, then that language’s keyboard layout will also be added after installation.

Right-click on the Start button. Click Settings in the menu. On the left side of the menu, click Time & Language, and then click Language & Region.
In the Language & Region settings, under Language, click the Preferred Languages tile and click the keyboard language you want, then click Language Options (ellipses or 3 dots).
To add a keyboard input language, click the “Add a keyboard” button. Then click on the input language you wish to add.
How to delete a keyboard layout
Should you wish to change a keyboard layout, click on the 3 dots to the right of the installed keyboard and click Remove. You cannot remove the keyboard when there is only one keyboard installed.
How to Switching between keyboard layouts
Then to choose the keyboard layout you just added, press Windows keys + the space bar. You can also click on the Keyboard Layout button under the system icons and select the keyboard layout or input language.
