How to hide time and date in Windows 11 taskbar

In Windows 11, a lot has changed from Windows 10. The look has changed radically, and several features available in Windows 10 are not yet available in Windows 11.

Keep in mind that many features will come back in Windows 11 via feature updates. However, one of the features that are not yet coming back, as far as I know, is being able to hide the time and date in the taskbar.

In Windows 10, a setting allows you to hide the time and date from the taskbar. Unfortunately, this feature is no longer available in Windows 11. However, I know there is a demand for it on the Microsoft support forum.

So an app has been developed by a developer that can hide the time and date in Windows 11. There is only one drawback to this, and that is that not only the time and date are hidden, but the entire “overflow menu”, “Quick Settings” or “Notifications”.

As I mentioned in the accompanying text. An app can remove the time and date notation from the taskbar. So this app is not officially from Microsoft, and there is limited support. The entire source code can be read on Github.
